We are seeking highly motivated and talented Data Science Interns to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in the field of data science.

The successful candidate will work closely with various business units to gain insights into business challenges, real- world problems, apply machine learning techniques, and gain valuable insights from data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data-related requirements.
• Translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports for various business functions.
• Assist in the design and implementation of data structures and data warehousing solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Communicate findings and insights effectively through written and verbal reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in data science and machine learning.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed formal qualification or learnership in data science  (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering).
• Familiarity with data manipulation and data visualisation tools (Tableau compulsory, Looker Studio an advantage)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Working knowledge of Power BI
• Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics
• Ability to work with large datasets and knowledge of data preprocessing techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and present findings.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
