Sakata: Marketing Internship Programme 2025

You will be joining Sakata’s local communication and marketing team that focuses on supporting all marketing activities.

Whatwill you do?

• Supporting social media activities
• Assisting with local marketing events e.g. farmers` days
• Assisting with preparation of promotional material
• Following up with various team on marketing needs
• Assisting with marketing administration
• Assisting with photography and videography

Wherewill you work?

• You will be based in Lanseria, Gauteng. Your manager, Monica Brits, is based at Sakata’s Head Office in Gauteng.
• You will work closely with the Professional Vegetables and Consumer Teams.

Requirements:

You have:

• a Diploma or Degree in a marketing related field
• a good knowledge of social media marketing
• a good knowledge of basic graphic design programs like Canva
• a good level of English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken
• a valid driver’s license

You are:

• willing to work flexible hours
• willing to travel extensively early mornings/late afternoons/evenings
• able to work under pressure
• computer literate
• able to work within deadlines, with good personal time management
• a team player who finds it easy to communicate and collaborate within the team and with other departments
